The PDMA Foundation is organized (IRS 501(c)(3)) for charitable and educational purpose, including creating new knowledge in new products management. The PDMA (Product Development and Management Association) created the Foundation in 1999 to qualify for corporate, government, and foundation funding. The PDMA www.pdma.org is a 30-year old nonprofit association providing to its 3,500 members various services including local chapters, conferences, and publications.
